Soraya Romero

Global Head of Engagement & Diversity, Iberostar Group

Soraya’s professional career has featured several posts of responsibility that have given her the chance to contribute extensive experience with sustainability to change the game rules

Soraya graduated in Sociology from the University of Alicante in 2003, and chose to specialise in advertising and communication. Afterwards she took a Postgraduate Course in Communication at UB. She still works as Associate Lecturer at UIB (Faculty of Economics and Business).

She spent the initial years of her career in strategic consultancy, and moved on to posts of responsibility at multinationals. Since 2012 she has worked in the tourist industry, where she has had the chance to roll out some interesting programmes.

In addition to her post as Head of Sustainability EMEA, Soraya Romero is also the Iberostar Group’s Global Head of Engagement & Diversity.
