Collaboration between the scientific world and the world of business is an increasingly essential asset.

José is Head of Experimental Systems at CTAQUA, where a range of tests are conducted on the Technology Centre’s areas of interest, such as nutrition, diversification or animal welfare. This space meets the innovation needs of Spanish and European businesses, which task a specialist team with more than 14 years’ experience with their surveys.

In these experimental systems, José applies the technical and administrative experience gleaned as manager of aquatic R+D facilities. After completing his Aquaculture Master studies at the University of Vigo, he specialised in R+D+i, specifically in devising and carrying out in vivo clinical trials and nutritional studies with several species of marine fish and freshwater fish.
