Katiuska González Campos leads the work of the Tenerife Coastal Action Group (Zone 4), a non-profit association made up of economic (private sector), social (guilds, associations) and public (public administrations) agents related to the fishing sector and belonging to the fishing area of the island of Tenerife. The group is managed by a Board of Directors and is chaired by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Francisco Javier Parrilla Gómez.
The Coastal Action Groups or Local Fisheries Action Groups (LFAGs) are the basic instruments through which the participatory local development strategies defined for the sector by its members or stakeholders and supported by Axis 4 of the European and Maritime Fisheries Fund (FEMP) are implemented.
Among the functions of the GAC Tenerife, the management of economic funds to promote the socioeconomic dynamization of the fishing areas and the management of subsidies for projects that contribute to the sustainable and inclusive economic and social development of the fishing sector stand out.
