The Andalusian Aquaculture Technology Centre is internationally renowned for development of innovative activities in the aquaculture and maritime foodstuffs sector.

With a degree in Marine Science and an International Master’s in Fishing and Aquaculture, she is the chief technical officer of CTAQUA, a non-profitmaking foundation sponsored by Andalusia’s leading aquaculture businesses, providing assistance and innovative solutions for the water-based sector, in relation to cultivation of species, fish and other varieties, in due consideration of aspects concerning nutrition, animal health and environmental sustainability, and the maritime foodstuffs sector in the transformation and marketing of blue-economy products.
