Arnau Subías
Scientific Director of GastroBio (Barcelona, Spain)
Arnau Subías, marine scientist, manages and provides the scientific part of the GastroBio project, thanks to his degree in Marine Sciences and Masters in Ecology, Management and Restoration of the Natural Environment. He is also a lecturer at the Barcelona Culinary Hub's Masters in Product and Sustainable Gastronomic Creativity.
His relationship with the world of gastronomy is not casual, but dates back to 2017, when he started working at the prestigious Passadís del Pep restaurant in Barcelona.
In 2022, he left his career as a researcher at the CSIC and the University of Barcelona to start the GastroBio project with Rafa Zafra.
