The driving force behind Brazadas Solidarias, an association that uses sport as a motor for social change, he is one of the world's best long-distance swimmers.
Christian Jongeneel (Malaga, 1974) discovered his passion for swimming at the age of five. He has been training ever since and has become an elite athlete.
He now combines his professional life with his sporting life through hard work, never losing the desire and motivation to improve himself and to face extraordinary challenges across seas and oceans all over the world. He has swum the English Channel, the Molokai Strait (Hawaii), the Cook Strait (New Zealand), the Strait of Gibraltar, twice around the island of Manhattan, the Alboran Sea, from Tenerife to Gran Canaria, etc.
