Director of the Organisation of Large Frozen Tuna Ships' Associate Producers, Morón is one of Europe's leading tuna experts.
Julio Morón is a doctor in Zoology and Animal Biology, and is currently managing director of the Organisation of Large Frozen Tuna Ships' Associate Producers (OPAGAC/AGAC). He is also the first deputy chairman of the Spanish Fishing Confederation (CEPESCA), a member of the Royal Sea Academy and chairman of the European Commission's Long Distance Fleet Advisory Council (LDAC).
